I don’t care about the lies he told of his service record. I care about the lies he told about the incident on the mall & what he said about those students. There should be jail time for what he did & said.

Then you don't understand the reason why his lying about his service is so important.

First, the press just accepted his statements without fact checking, further proving that they don't really care about the facts, just their narrative. It fit their narrative to have a young privileged white Catholic boy in a maga hat attacking an old Vietnam Vet native American. Truth be damned when it gets in their way. Only after the right did it's work on the fact checking did these leftist rags modify their reports.

Second, it goes to his character. The Covington boys have not been shown to have lied in any instance yet. Again and again this fake has been shown to be a liar. If he lies about his military service, why should we take his word for what he says about the incident?

Thank you! All this brouhaha about where he was or wasn’t stationed 50 years ago during the Vietnam era is a massive distraction. It allows the media to ignore the issue at hand: the smearing of the kids last week
