1) Trump has a definite date in mind where he will soon end the shutdown by declaring a national emergency, so that he can fund the wall.

I have a feeling there's not a single person on FR who could have beaten any one of those 16 runner ups in the Presidential Primary, let alone beat all of them...
No one wins every pot of every game...Somtimes ya hold 'em, sometimes you have to fold 'em...We don't have a clue what's going on behind the scenes...I'll trust Trump to make America great again...
And too, Trump may not get the wall...But I'll bet he's doing everything he can, playing the game as it has to be played, while working with what he has to work with to get that wall...
One thing I'm confident in is if Trump has to open the gov't without the wall, that won't be the end of it...
