I am well aware of the fact that a doctor’s or dentist’s office is a business as well as a health resource. Some of them are just getting by.
We can help by trying not to cost them more money than we have to, not canceling appointments, understanding if the visit is as short as possible, etc.
But the dentists are overchargers.
I would just say, that we can’t say they are overchargers, without knowing their business model, expenses, break even points, etc. And also, who decides what their net profit for any procedure should be. Bureaucracy?
Shop around and see what the going rate is for various procedures. That is true of dentistry or any other goods and services.
