"Amen. Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell was in many respects livable..."

Well said.

What goes on off duty behind closed doors between two consenting adults is their business, not mine. That's just about the only bit of common sense that ever came down the pike under Wild Bill.

When these freaks insist on throwing their deviant behavior in everyone's face, and everything LGBTQ is about sex, then it is disruptive and demoralizing for the unit.

The Commander in Chief calls the shots, not these Left Coast Liberals who wish to destroy our America.

Amen. Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell from a outside perspective seemed like a good solution. We work as a team to get the job done and keep who’s gay, straight, bi ad other issues that could cause problems outside the work place. What happens off duty, on leave, etc. between two consenting adults in none of our business as long as it stays as a off duty, on leave, etc. “zone.”

You're right about it being common sense. However, it was not the plan of Bimbo Bill, aka The StainMaster, aka Beelzebubba.

Rather, it was forced on him by longtime Georgia Dem Senator Sam Nunn.

Though Clinton promised throughout the '92 campaign to focus like a laser beam on the economy, the very first thing he did out of the gate was to announce that homosexuals could serve in the military completely openly.

Sam Nunn, the head of the Senate Armed Services Committee said, Whoa! Not so fast. It was he who forced onto Bubba the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy.
