“Perhaps at some point our “leaders” will begin to make military decisions based on improving our WARFIGHTING abilities vice all this “touchy-feely” crap that has DEGRADED our warfighting capabilities!”
YES! The nation’s military is the one “government job” that doesn’t exist just to give someone a job. Soldiers don’t get to sit around an office collecting a paycheck for nothing.
Patsy Schroeder, back in the day of the “Fightertown Follies,” thought the military was a 9 - 5 job, and therefore women could serve in capacities other than the “traditional” secretarial/admin type.
