From your link, I read some of the wording of this statute. It seems it’s abortion on demand until 24 weeks. I’m not seeing where it becomes legal until birth. How would that be determined anyway, since babies are born mostly anywhere between 37 and 42 weeks?
It does say that it would be allowed any time to save the health of the mother. Is that what you guys are saying would be the excuse to murder a nearly newborn? To protect mom’s “health?” I would think you could be an attorney for the dead baby and win a huge settlement against the state because giving birth does not hurt the mother’s health.
That *protecting the mother’s health* clause IS what gives license to murder the child up until the moment of birth.
