Never trust the media is something I learned 51 years and ten days ago - Jan.31, 1968. When i finally read the Cronkite report of the TET Offensive in South VietNam, I wondered if it was the same event I was intimately involved in - 17 hrs in contact with the enemy - or some other event. It was not pretty and up until that time was the bloodiest day for American troops in Vietnam but it was a battle we decisively won. I have distrusted our media since that time and for the past 20 years the media affirms my mistrust and disdain for them DAILY.

I had a veteran, conservative father, and had a mind of my own, so I already distrusted the media before then.

But I specifically later learned just how evil and complicit our media was when I came across Les Kinsolving.
