China’s 2018 economic growth fell to a three-decade low, adding to pressure on Beijing to settle a tariff war with Washington.

The world’s second-largest economy expanded by 6.6 percent over a year earlier, down from 2017′s 6.9 percent, official data showed Monday. Growth in the three months ending in December dipped to 6.4 percent — the lowest quarterly level since the 2008 global crisis — from the previous quarter’s 6.5 percent.

Communist leaders are trying to steer China to slower, more self-sustaining growth based on consumer spending instead of trade and investment. But the deceleration has been sharper than expected, prompting Beijing to step up government spending and order banks to lend more to shore up growth and avoid politically dangerous job losses. […]

Economic growth in 2018 was the lowest since 1990′s 3.9 percent in the aftermath of the violent crackdown on pro-democracy protests centered on Beijing’s Tiananmen Square.

Growth in investment, retail spending and factory activity all declined, the National Bureau of Statistics reported. …

I’m not accusing Trump of anything. I have supported the guy all along.

But BOTH PARTIES have been selling out America to China forever.

Both parties. Everyone.

Have you bought (anything) in the last ten years?

Made in China. All of it.

All that money, RAPIDLY is making China into a very dangerous rival.

Very quickly.

Trump is not the problem. All the Americans, on BOTH SIDES of the aisle, for the entire last generation and a half, selling American assets to China are.

For real.

I’m fully aware of that. I’ve posted several times about the existence of the “Uniparty” consisting of Republicans and Democrats—which is, as I have called them, the political left in the USA. But “both parties”, to be pedantic, is not synonymous with “everyone”.

Don’t lie about “all of it” being made in China. I’ve bought a great swath of items made in the USA, and they are not hard to find; such are my preference. We still need more made here, of course.

Nobody disputes Red China becoming a “dangerous rival” either. We have lots of traitors in DC, helping not only them but other rivals to the USA.

Feel better after repeating yourself?

Nope.

Our media and a whole (huge) amount of people are in lockstep for China.

Don’t get tired, at all, of repeating myself.

Never.

Not as huge as you try to make out.

Try and be a bit more original and fleshed-out.
