Dating muself, but your list reminds me of a vignette from, if I recall, the old “Love, American Style” t.v. series, that those of you who grew up in the 50’s and 60’s, may appreciate:
A coarse looking Rob Reiner (when wasn’t he coarse looking?), compliments a girl he considered asking out on a date, by saying, “For a girl who don’t wear white lipstick, you’re all right!”
