If it seemed like they were lumping masculinity in with harassment and bullying, its because they were lumping masculinity in with harassment and bullying. Masculinity is toxic! Im willing to bet they lost a ton of customers over that little stunt. This is the best response Ive seen yet. Egard Watch Company took Gillette HEAD on.

“Hope millions see it and stop to think about what is real.”
—
Well, a million already have! The great thing is it’s not meanspirited, doesn’t knock anybody and doesn’t lecture. It just tells real stories with humanity.
“Looks like the cheapest watch is about $85. Pricing that against Gillette blade refills, thats what? About 3 months of shaving?”
—
Watches would go good with a beard, though.
:D
You’re welcome, please do share it with friends! I suspect the media won’t praise it as they did with the “toxic men” ad.
99% of all Commercial Fishing deaths are men.
Simply fantastic.
And yes, tear inducing.

I find that the Schick Slim Twins works just fine with my sandpaper beard. The prep is important soak the beard, add on moisturizer lotion and a good shaving gel and voila. No high dollar blades necessary although Gillette makes some good ones but eff them.
.
Actually, Costco began as “Price Club,” but the founders soon parted ways, and the Costco store was opened.

The Daily Wire interviewed the company owner who made the ad:

EFF Gillette!!
I wish I had talked to you before my trip to Wal Mart. I saw the Hydro blades you’re referring to but I ended up getting the Quattro...oh well, I’ll give ‘em a try anyway and if they don’t work out I’ll get the Hydro.
Good on him. I tried to leave a comment on Gillette’s website but it looked like they’ve disabled comments...ha ha, wonder why?
Gillette, you are dead to most masculine Americans. Maybe you can make razors liberals...they can have no blades.. New Slogan: ‘The best feminine man can be!’
And I was one of the first members of Costco.
The percentage of likes vs dislikes is getting close to one hundred to one.
