I’m sure McConnell is not the one standing in the way of abolishing the filibuster. There are a lot of Republicans who would oppose that. It only takes a majority to abolish the filibuster and they obviously don’t have it or they would have done so already.
He’s the Majority Leader. I wonder how much power VP Pence has as Senate President.
