NOTHING is safe.
If you don’t want any risk, throw the computer, smart phone and tablet away.
There are risks, but they can be mitigated.
I love the cloud! On-premises computing is slowly going away... Like the mainframe. They’ll be some, but most processing will take place in the cloud. As long as you have to share data online, sell or buy over the Internet, or simply go to a web page (like we currently are doing), the risks inherent in the cloud are the same risks to us right now, and have been for the past 25 years.
Incidentally, scams have been going on since the first cave man got the first cave woman to check out his cave paintings. Same as it always was!
