Linda Grahamnesty has already stated the dems were not going to deal or give in and that Trump should declare a national emergency and build the wall.

There wasn’t any amnesty. The Democrats want citizenship for DACA. Trump didn’t offer that.
Grounding the Pelosi Afghan Express was a brilliant aggressive move the likes we have rarely seen against a Deep State Queen. That is two queens Trump has struck. And of course telling the legislature all Military Air lifts need his approval was an offensive move. If they turn down this deal, my guess is Trump will get very quiet and stop tweeting for awhile. Lol.

To be fair, the Dems signed on to a deal that passed the Senate by voice vote and by all accounts was ready to be rubber stamped by the House.
Since then all that’s happened is Trump added a condition to what everyone else agreed to. I don’t see compromise after compromise.
So it was off the table for a year anyway. This gives them two additional years. Apparently.
Tuning in to FR to see what people think. I’m surprised so many are calling this a reasonable position. I agree it should help President Trump. Democrats will look in reasonable.

They do. However, the Senate can take an existing House bill and gut it with new language - even if it’s completely different from the original bill.
We all know how Pelosi operates; look how fast she started retaliating against her own caucus who didn't vote for her. She's probably fuming at Trump for humiliating her for a third time:
Pelosi is dug in now, because to her, it's her honor on the line and she won't abide being bested by Trump. If Republicans are smart, they need to turn to Schumer to bring Pelosi back from the brink, because I see no way that Pelosi will ever agree to a Trump deal where he gets what he wants.
I can see a worst case where an immovable Pelosi faces a no-confidence vote and an attempted removal as Speaker if she persists in an Ahab-like pursuit of stopping Trump on this.

I think this is their last chance to compromise and save face, if not he will indeed declare an emergency.
