Well that changes the murder laws in NY because if the baby is not a human until a live birth then you can not be convicted of murder of a non-human. What a mess that will be. Maybe someone will ask to have their murder conviction overturned because they were convicted for a non-crime.

The NY law defines “person”, not “human”. This is by design, since “person” cannot be defined except by fiat. “Human” is objectively simple to define, making it not useful for these butchers’ purposes.

Note also that Cuomo threatened to hold up the budget until this passes. All my progressive acquaintances insist that President Trump is anti-democratic for doing the same thing.
