Taken the breadbasket of Africa and turned it into a place of starvation..
South Africa is sadly on the same path..
I have an African-American friend from Rhodesia - He was born there after numerous generations of fore-fathers there, and is now an American citizen. The fact that his skin is as white as the snow on Mount Kilimanjaro, doesn't make him any less African-American.
His family owned successful farms in Rhodesia, which were all stolen from them by the Zimbabwe government. Fearing for their lives, they escaped to South Africa, and then penniless, to the USA. Through hard work and education, my friend became a successful first generation immigrant engineer, though with a slight Boorish accent.
His uncle stayed in South Africa, and now fears for his life there, too, for the same reasons.
