Not by much, a margin of just 19.
I was hoping for Boris Johnson or Daniel Hannan, perhaps in coalition with Nigel Farage and UKIP.
May was a Remain. At least Cameron had the integrity to resign after the Brexit vote. It’s no wonder May screwed up Brexit, which she has never supported.
Daniel Hannan and Nigel Farage are not in Parliament.
The UKIP has no seats, so no.
The Conservatives are governing in a Confidence and Supply coalition with the Democratic Unionists.
Conservative: 317
Labour: 262
Scottish National: 35
Liberal Democrat: 12
Democratic Unionist: 10
Sinn Fein*: 7
Plaid Cymru: 4
Green: 1
*Do not take their seats
Permanent political class just like in Germany. Everyone in her party hates her but they don’t want to lose their expense accounts and offices, which will happen when Labour takes over. Just like under King George III. The Parliament just sat there and twiddled their thumbs while he reasserted his authority and persecuted the colonies. Now its Queen May, who has no moral support just a bunch of other losers pissing their pants.
How would that work? UKIP controls precisely zero seats in Parliament. Neither Hannan nor Farage are MPs - that might prove an obstacle to getting elected. Technically I don't think you have to be a Member of Parliament to be elected PM, but it's inconceivable that anyone would get elected without being one.
