Democrats still using the tried and true Alinsky tactic of “pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it”. Republicans go along with it every time. They think they are taking the high road. They’re idiots.
Republicans rarely stick up for their own. They seem to believe if they let the Democrats take down their victim Democrats will leave them alone.
All it does is embolden Democrats to take down their next Republican victim.
They never learn.
And the never-Trumpers will be happy when Trump is gone. Republicans will then wonder, only too late, why they keep losing power.
Hint: they give power to Democrats.
They are not idiots, they are trying to get rid of the few that represent the citizens and stand for the rule of law.
