People working, like the Coast Guard, TSA, etc., should definitely get back pay, plus a bonus for the hardship. Those not working should get absolutely nothing but the unemployment insurance they are entitled to. You cannot collect unemployment when you re on strike. ONLY can collect the meager strike funds your lying Union has promised you.
I was caught up in more than one strike in my younger years. By the time the strike is settled, I LOST more pay than I would recoup in the 3 year time frame of the ‘new contract’. Happened more than once.
