The dims are living in the 1970’s. Back then the border region was pretty safe on both sides. My parents took us kids on a driving trip down to Monterrey and Mexico City. We drove back up the east coast of Mexico and crossed back at Brownsville. No problems.
That scenario has completely changed. Mexico has lost control of their northern states to the drug cartels. These people are every bit as bad as the muslim terrorists, but the DC congress critters warn us about the muslims halfway around the country but completely ignore drug fueled terrorists on our own soil.
Yeah we are pissed. Enough of this foolishness.
Watch “Narcos Mexico” on Netflix it tells the story of the creation of the original cartel in Mexico to organize the shipment and control the price of Marijuana across the border into the US. It starts in 1980. It is fairly historically accurate and does not glorify the narcos.
It shows them as the cut throat killers that they are/were.
