I’m sure some are may be disappointed but to me the meal would
be last thought when getting to meet with the President.

The gist of hospitality is making sure your guests feel at home. If you’re hosting college kids and low on staff, serving them familiar fast food is better than having them worry about using the right fork. Win-win.

A lot of them already met the president two years ago. I’m sure they were thrilled to return to the White House after their stomping of my Crimson Tide one week ago today. Usually, the national championship teams go in a few months after they win, and they go in and out of the White House rather quickly along with other national championship teams. But President Trump brought these guys in fresh off their win and while most of the team was still available to travel. They do not usually feed the teams that come to the White House.

What makes this team so special is their attitude. It’s all about JOY in all that they do. Dabo gave a great speech about his team and ended it with a quote from the Purdue superfan who passed a little over a week ago. The quote was about being grateful. We could all use with grateful attitudes.
