There was even one couple that bought an apartment building and fenced it off with a high security fence. Filled it with illegals from their homeland and used them as the workforce for some factory that they owned. IIRC they were from India and it was some kind of electronics assembly company. Anyway if you think legal 3rd world imports share American cultural values you’re kidding yourself.

Happens in North Carolina, too, according to my cousin who volunteered as a Spanish translator for the courts there. A person, or couple would enter the country and state legally, start a business, then bring in illegals, put them to work in their business, and treat them like slaves. Complain, and you were out of a job and turned in to “La Migra.” (INS, in those days)
