Dittos on the safety razor. Been using one for three+ years and would never go back to the gimmicks.
I like Feather blades from Japan, IIRC. Get a year’s supply at a time for the cost of a month’s worth of plastic toy razors.
Where do you find a good safety razor (and blades) these days?
