Yep.
Local media full of sob stories about “food stamp recipients” not being able to eat and many of them are poor “undocumented residents.”
UNDOCUMENTED RESIDENTS!
Local media here is running stories about these “poor” gov’t employees in dire straits because they miss a paycheck (which eventually they will receive, and I am even ok with a reasonable amount of interest being added — fair is fair.)
So, a couple crybaby interviews are done, and I am a halfway observant person... WTH, these gov’t employees are living in nice townhouses, etc., and they never thought to save enough $$ to be able to go a few months until new pay resumes? Sorry, unless there are extenuating circumstances, I have very little sympathy.
