Correct. Virtually all of the Republican candidates go to Iowa and sing the praises of ethanol even though it’s a lousy product and actually pollutes more than real gas does. You won’t see Louisiana Republicans fighting sugar tariffs, either. Let’s face it. Americans like their government gibs.
