Dishonesty and corruption are endemic at the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The latest proof comes in a New York Times report that the FBI initiated an investigation in May of 2017 into whether President Donald Trump was serving as a covert Russian agent. The accusation itself was ludicrous on its face. But from a legal standpoint, the FBI's probe constituted an egregious abuse of power. The Bureau had no probable cause, no evidence, and no reasonable suspicions. They investigated Trump because they could. They defied the law, ignored or perverted facts, and debased the integrity of a heretofore-respected law enforcement agency.
Why did these rogue officials commit such an outrageous act of malfeasance? In a word, vengeance. Already incensed that Trump had defeated their preferred candidate, Hillary Clinton, they grew furious when the president fired Director James Comey on May 9, 2017. In reaction, they sought retribution. What better way to avenge Comey's firing than to launch a counterintelligence investigation of Trump under the false pretense that he committed treasonous acts for the benefit of the Kremlin and at the direction of President Vladimir Putin. Absent credible proof, information could be manipulated to frame Trump while a compliant media would gobble up the leaks and report the damaging charge. The election results could then be undone when the president was driven from office.

who at Fox decides to use the video in the article, which continuously shows a caption “working on behalf of Russia”?
it would have been better if the article stood alone.
Quit? Most of them have been either fired or resigned. No, they need to be prosecuted. If they aren’t brought to trial, it will happen again. Just letting people go quietly into the night isn’t justice.
Obozo sputtering “I..I..don’t believe Trump will become president”
Nazi Pelosi “Trust me...Trump will never...he will never become president”
Schumer giving the FBI his approval to go after Trump “Don’t mess with the intelligence community, they have 7 ways to Sunday to get you”
They were all in on it and they all need to hang.
They were doing it long before 2017
Did you see Levin’s show last night???
Ted Kennedy did what they have been trying to pin on Trump. There are documents that he tried to use Russia to beat Reagan.. during a campaign. The media and congress would do nothing about it.. overlooked it.. did not want to investigate a Kennedy.
Look at what they are doing today!
It would seem the only cure for the problem, that is coming coup that's about to take place, would be a general uprising of the people of our nation.. And THAT is exactly why the dimocraps are so desperate to totally disarm us.. If the Clinton's had won I feel certain that confiscation would be underway right now..
We had better make our move pretty darn soon, or it's going to be too late... Just like the United Kingdom... :(
IMHO the story and the alleged formal investigation case opened on Trump to catch him as a spy is a hoax.
The plotters are trying to send out a new narrative for their actions which will prevent them from going to jail. They had to investigate Trump and his administration the new story goes because the dossier said he is a dupe for Russia.
I suspect these clever people have created a new case number and everything to project their actions as simply counterintelligence folks doing their job on national security, but there is already too much information out there that confutes this narrative.
Bingo on she wasnt supposed to lose to cover for Obama
Good post.
FBI need to be reformed, but it won’t changed unless it is forced to change.
We need a civil disobedience campaign against FBI and other government agencies that abuse their power. This can be done if jurors stand up to the abuse with jury nullification. Jurors must presume that evidence produced by the FBI (or other agencies like DEA, ATF, EPA etc.) is tainted fabricated or obtained illegally.
They have to start losing cases, even slam dunk cases. That will force them to follow the law.
The Halfrican was a busy little creep....wasn’t he?
I’m getting pretty sick of hearing about it and seeing nothing change.
I’m a bottom line kind of guy. The bottom line is that none of the coup participants have even been charged with their criminality much less put in prison. Bottom line: our government is still firmly controlled by the deep state.
thanx for keeping this important information on the forum.
bttt
Hang em by the balls.... with a chain and give them a knife.
They also knew that Rosenstein recommended Comey’s firing. Did these same agents go after Rosenstein? Of course not.
“ALL of these COUP PLOTTERS MUST GO TO PRISON!! ALL OF THEM!!”
It has been two years and the the President has shown zero interest in using his DOJ, or any of his massive Executive Branch powers to put any of these culprits in jail. He has fired a few of the worst offenders, but he has left many in place, still holding their jobs. Why is that?
Maybe we should be following his lead. President Trump clearly believes that he can do more damage to the Left by leaving them be.
There could be any number of strategic reasons to let a known criminal remain free - here are a few possibilities:
1. When your enemy is self-destructing, get out of the way.
2. Criminals will easily flip to cut a deal.
3. Released captors may lead you back to the nest.
4. The public adores a merciful victor and fears a cruel one.
5. Suspects left free will further incriminate themselves and others.
6. Out of sight, out of mind - let the public witness the repeated crime.
Another possibility is a strategy I remember from my high school wrestling days: You get two points for a takedown or reversal, but only a single point for an escape. You can win with a pin but some opponents are extremely difficult to pin and a failed attempt can be exhausting, often with no points to show for it. The coaches taught us to size up our opponent and if we were confident - instead of going for the pin - consider the strategy of take-down, release, take-down, release. Trading one point for two, you can quickly rack up a massive point advantage - and then run out the clock.
I think President Trump is using a similar strategy. He is confident in his ability to “take down” his political adversaries. He scores ‘points’ with the public by doing so - his credibility rises, while that of his adversary sinks. He can score more points off them if he allows them to stay in the game.
Take Jim Acosta for example. His behavior was so horrible that people here on FR wanted to see him fired from CNN, permanently banned from the White House, etc.. The President apparently thought different. It seems like the President couldn’t wait to have Acosta back at the White House so he could score more points off him.
Maybe it’s the same with these deep state traitors in the FBI, DOJ, DoS, etc. - maybe POTUS figures: “Let them continue to operate, let them continue to make mistakes, let me continue to sit back and score points with the whole world watching. Whatever you do, DON’T put them in jail and end my fun!”
