The problem is the swamp. We elected a guy. He is blocked at all every turn. He had both houses and couldnt get a wall built. Unless he acts It surely wont get built with a democrat house.
Build it now and let the courts put together an army to block it.
“He had both houses and couldnt get a wall built...”
I don’t disagree with your post at all, but I question whether he really “had both houses”.
I think having “control” of a chamber is very important - but it’s not a panacea when both houses are infested with backstabbing RINOs and neverTrumpers.
I would venture to say Trump is actually better off now, despite the GOP’s loss of control of the House. A bunch of the worst neverTrumpers are gone, and the President has earned a degree of respect from the remaining Republicans that he didn’t have in his first two years.
Meanwhile, the Democrat majority is thin enough that they will not enjoy the same unity they did when in a narrow minority. They will face the problem a thin majority always faces, as congressmen realize they have the power to extort their leadership for deals and concessions by withholding their vote. It will be Republicans who now have the incentive to unify.
Why do you assume the military is on Trump’s side?
The USSC could tell the Army to block construction, and they will probably do it.
