How many of these employees are unionized?

If most or many, this gets very interesting, because it means the unions won’t be getting paid either. They can probably only go a short time before the leadership, along with all the things they influence, falls apart.

...meanwhile, many are probably going to get short term employment - there’s plenty of jobs. Some might experience the private sector being more beneficial and not come back. So even after this is all over the union revenue base might still take a significant hit.

Hmmmmmm......

Hey— the unions can always float loans to their more valued members by asset loans from all their real estate investments in condominiums and tract home developments in FL and elsewhere in the US. These do exist in their “investment” portfolio that performs as a “slush fund” to bury “donations” of in kind salary return. Through their lobbying law firms. This is how it is done. About which in re: Fusion GPS... see, bag man from Perkins Coie law firm (the Podesta payoff people and also the Gillum challenge to the now Governor DeSantis of FL— same guy from Perkins Coie that handled the money paid to Mr. Steele for his “dossier”). Crooks-— all of them. Just imagine— the bill the 8 repubs supported with the dems to selectively “fund” (which btw is NOT needed) included funding the freaking IRS, cause they couldn’t have “non-essential” but unionized employees, now could they? Hint— IRS and all fedgov not subcontracting are unionized... and lobby for more pay from these same congress apparatchiks.

And those around the DC metro area-— back to their rental units and real estate side bidness-— literally everyone and their spouse are at it in the insanely inflated DC market. The most expensive among all zip codes in the US on housing and other real estate... alone.
