She dethroned a powerful white, male politician who was thought a shoo-in and who was expected to eventually be the Speaker of the House. To the uber-Left it seemed a watershed moment they have all been waiting for. This is when white male heterosexuals finally lose their dominance. Quite accidentally, she was at the right moment when everything seemed to change for the uber-Left. The confluence of the moment and the fact she was young and attractive is too much for our celebrity obsessed Left. As unready as she is for prime time, there she was...there the moment was. We can be fortunate that she is no FDR or young Nancy Pelosi. Also, that she has the smarts of Mr-Guam-will-tip-over is probably good for conservatives. Intelligence isn’t a requirement.
