owa's two Republican senators have condemned Rep. Steve King's (R-Iowa) comments about white supremacy this week, as the members of the GOP continue to distance themselves from the remarks.
Sens. Joni Ernst (R) and Chuck Grassley (R) said they both condemned King's comments in an interview in The New York Times, in which he questioned why the terms "white supremacist" and "white nationalist" were considered controversial, with Ernst calling King's remarks racist.
"I condemn Rep. Steve Kings comments on white supremacy; they are offensive and racist - and not representative of our state of Iowa," Ernst

Not too bright perhaps?
*************************
Steve King is VERY intelligent and he stands for the right things in Congress ALWAYS. You joining up with JEB! and crew?
Then again, we live in an age when saying Its alright to be white is hate speech.
*********************************************
And saying the hateful All lives matter could get you murdered depending upon the time and place of the utterance.
If the left said those comments, it would be ignored or crafted into a nothing-burger let alone the fact the left NEVER eats its own but the GOPe dopes eviscerate themselves.
[[Steve King is VERY intelligent]]
He hasn’t figured out that NYT is the enemy after all these years, and you say he’s ‘very intelligent’? Really? He may be in some areas- but in this area he’s not too bright apparently- as are a lot of republicans who can’t seem to figure that out- have a nice day-
You’re going to long for the good ol’ days after a few high-profile hearings with Lindsey Graham chairing Judiciary!
Fine, feel free to join the RINO firing squad. He made a mistake, Ill save my bullets for others.
Yeah house0- that’s just what I’m bound to do- because we all know that pointing out that someone isn’t bright regarding a certain issues obviously means we’ve moved to the extreme left of the party- Cripes!
Any thing white is racist, but BLM, Black Congressional Caucus, Black Panthers, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago aka Jeremiah Alvesta Wright Jr, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc etc etc are not racists.
Steve King must be defended. Screw Ben Shapiro and all these other maggots.
Currently in Congress there are Black supremacists and Islamic supremacists. I condemn them but does Grassley and Ernst?
Sorry, Dude, a shot is a shot particularly when its done in conjunction with a mob. I would NEVER kick a friend when hes down and being besieged. Consider the virtue you signaled received.
lol the only one virtue signaling here is you- “Why i would NEVER’ blah blah blah- Steve king stepped in it big time by agreeing to speak with the enemy- and for some unknown reason- a LOT of republicans do this too and never learn their lesson- It’s not too bright- period-
Well, one thing is clear...YOU can never say that you wouldnt take a shot at a friend when hes down. Give JEB! my regards.
riiiiight house- like i said- pointing out that these republicans never seem to learn obviously means I’ve taken a hard left turn- Drama much?-
In order to form an objective concept the conceptual common denominator and the distinguishing characteristic are required to be measurable. Races are similar because they have in common the fact that they are descended from a location, and they are different in kind because of the fact that they have the distinguishing characteristic that they are descended from a particular location. These locations can be measured.
Once the objective concept of the different kinds of race are formed, it can be observed that races also have particular special characteristics that can be measured. This means that there is always going to be an element of superiority and inferiority, or more and less in any kind of race. This is part of the nature of measurement, and of the measurement of kinds of race.
That's what public schools are teaching your kids.
He Joanie. How about all the Black and Brown supremacy BS that’s going around? Are you offended by all the “white privilege” BS they are spewing? Let us know.
I dont expect much of Ernst, but Grassley should know better.
“The Repubican circular firing squad has been assembled”
Steve King himself is the biggest part of a firing squad. He constantly says stupid things, and almost lost one of the safest seats in the nation.
Yes he is conservative, but he is a hindrance to conservationism.
Why are republicans so quick to jump all over a fellow republican but will not say a word about a democrat?
