Driver who led police on chase claimed sovereign nation status, officials say

A driver arrested after a crash and police pursuit Thursday claimed sovereign nation status and said she did not have to follow Massachusetts laws, police said.
Abington police saw Jessica Davis, 36, of Bridgewater, hit a vehicle and take off on Route 18, police said. The officer and a State Police trooper pursued Davis’ vehicle.
Police said they twice tried to stop her by boxing in her vehicle.

Police said as they did, Davis claimed to "sovereign nation status," possibly referring to movement more commonly known as "sovereign citizens" who reject the authority of government and laws.
I guess the crazy eyes tell only one part of the story. She should have a wall built around her.

Sure fire way to piss off the cops. Depending on their particular sanctuary status, they may well be stuck with her when it would be much easier to just turn her over to ICE for federal prosecution.
