THE GREAT AMERICAN SONGBOOK
HARRY WARREN
AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER
In the Fifties, it was considered good business policy for a studio to have a hit song tied to a film. Tom Lehrer made fun of this with his joke about The Ten Commandments Mambo. This song, which won an Oscar, opened the wonderful Cary Grant weeper of 1957. Its a Nelson Riddle arrangement.
