I wholeheartedly agree! Why the hell do you suppose that the majority of US military are based in the former Confederate states? They are there as a reminder, that resistance is futile. Move the majority of them to the southwest, and treat posse comitatus as it was intended. Posse comitatus didn’t stop the government from building posts on the western territories during the Indian wars, nor building posts in the south to enforce Reconstruction.
