She’ll be “recovering” for the next 2 years or until she dies in an attempt to rob Trump from another SCOTUS pick.
At least one news outlet is reporting that she has pneumonia, and will not return:

Personally, I think she’ll be dead within the week, if not sooner.
As I understand, she had one or more of her five lung lobes (3+2) removed. It takes a long time (6-18 months as I recall) for the remaining lobes to stretch and grow into that void, and lung function to recover.
Wouldn’t she be in the hospital if she had pneumonia?

I’m not a doctor but pneumonia at her age and recent medical history would be the end for most people.
I think that she is on her last legs and that probably she has a few months or less.
Part of the seclusion would not surprise me is to keep her out of sight until a “body double” can be found. I am sure that her law clerks and handlers can prop up a “look a like” as long as they have a living breathing “face” they can put before the public.
Time will tell.
