Are union members paid when they go on strike?
Generally no. Some unions maintain strike funds that divvy out small payments to help tide them over.
I've spoken to older women around here who remember their union husbands going on strike. They say that no matter how good the settlement turned out to be you never really recovered from the lost paychecks.

Believe it or not they get unemployment benefits. At least in the communist blue states.
Last I heard anyway.

Are union members paid when they go on strike?The one thing federal union members cannot do is go on strike and walk out. There is federal law preventing it.
