You missed the point. These people were waging brutal wars of conquest on each other for centuries before whites showed up. So it’s ok if the natives are slaughtering each other but it’s not ok for whites to do it.
You are forgetting that the reason Europeans were fleeing Europe was because European nations were waging savage brutal wars against one another, for thousands of years, and certain rich kingdoms were seeking new trade routes, to build wealth to wage war on other European nations.
The Spanairds had just driven armies of Moors off the European continent when they sent expeditions to America stocked full of war veterans.
They didn’t want all of these battle tested veterans hanging around medival towns causing trouble.

This is a very interesting time in European history. There is a lot a written accounts of the new world expeditions. It’s very fascinating to see good Catholic people deal with native American cultures.
You will be surprised how many Catholic people agonized over fighting and killing the indigenous people of the Americas, and wrote about it.
They were smart enough to know that killing people, because they were different... isn’t a Christian Virtue.
Spanish saw the Aztec Gods as Devilish Demons—to be pulled down and replaced by the “Truth Faith” of the Roman Catholic Church. A better deal for the natives. You looked crosseyed at an Aztec Noble you had your heart ripped out, you looked wrong at a Spanish Noble you got a boot in the face but you were still alive and were offered a place (at the bottom) of the Spanish World Empire—all the wonders, tools and science of Europe, things from China, things from other parts of South America. The Spanish dreamed of a world totally dominated by Spain—one king, one pope (a Spanish Pope) for all mankind. One language one nation for all. This new world would be one of peace and prosperty! No nations, no different religions—no reason to fight? Scary.
To be fair, the people of the Old World were waging brutal wars of conquest on each other long before the Spanish saw any Aztec do it... the Spanish- Moor fighting wasn’t with pillows. The reason Europeans were so accustomed to fighting and ingenious about it was that they’d been conquered and at times had been conquerors themselves for centuries.
