Nancy Pelosi argued this week that “walls are immoral.” Chuck Schumer called President Trump’s stand against open borders a “manufactured crisis!”
But less than one year ago Pelosi and Schumer approved funding on a 287 mile long border wall — in JORDAN!
Neil Munro at Breitbart.com reported at the time.
The 2018 omnibus provides just enough funds to build 33 miles of fencing on the Texas border — but it also provides $500 million to help Jordan build a wall and defense line against jihad terrorists trying to cross its 287-mile border with Iraq and Syria.
The omnibus budget says on page 394:
SEC. 9011. Up to $500,000,000 of funds appropriated by this Act for the Defense Security Cooperation Agency in ‘‘Operation and Maintenance, Defense-Wide’’ may be used to provide assistance to the Government of Jordan to support the armed forces of Jordan and to enhance security along its borders.
Democrats had no problem funding the wall in Jordan. It was not an “immoral wall.”
It's about separating Trump from his base for 2020.

Trump must be turning the tide. It is looking bad for the Democrats if Cher is telling them to provide the funding. LOL

Cher’s Twitter is such a dumpster fire. It always reads like something an 8 year-old with ADHD would write immediately before slipping into a sugar coma.
She is absolutely correct about the liberals being rather naive.
They are representing their constituents. The lobbyists.
This is why then-candidate Trump was so dangerous to the status quo. He didn’t need their funding, and thus wasn’t muzzled by the lobbyists. He wasn’t dependent on their funding.
Ever notice the “mainstream” Republican candidates never say anything remotely approaching normal conversational speech, “conservative” opinions held by the vast majority of Americans, democrat or republican, the way Donald J. Trump did.
If they do, they probably get a phone call and read the riot act, and no more funding unless they comply. And they comply, because the first thing they do upon election is sit down and start raising money for election. The way the system is set up we’re guaranteed to get hosed. If you hadn’t noticed.

They display 99% negative comments.
They are not in chronological order.
I have counted replies running at 10/second (yes 600/minute) on a recent Trump Tweet while Twitter displayed Replies over an hour old.
All 99% negative.

Exactly. It’s not about the wall. It’s not about the border. It’s not even about all the illegals they want to let in here to support the Dem party. And it’s certainly never been about the money, as Dems couldn’t care less about approving billions upon billions of dollars for anything and everything without batting an eye. It’s simply about denying Trump a win that he can deliver to his base and point to in 2020. That’s all it’s ever been about. It’s a zero-sum game for them. They can’t let him have this victory.
That's what this is about...the country be damned. It's more important to destroy Trump - the swamp disruptor - than protect American citizens and do their constitutional duty. Our political class intends to protect it's gravy train, it's power, it's control of trillions. They have no intention of letting We The People interfere.

Yes, but it is also (probably primarily) about them (liberals/Democrats) having the ability to control voting demographics.
Very true. We've allowed a political class, a political royalty to develop in our nation, and they won't go quietly into the night. We can, however, win this battle - but we won't unless we are able to stem the tide of demographic shifts and vote fraud that the left (and the swamp) are using to dilute the will of the people.
In Obama parlance, ‘transforming’ America wasn't/isn't just a slogan. They want to permanently shift the political and socioeconomic landscape - with them in total control.
