The Aunt is no fool and knows very well who did it, what she is saying in that gloriously roundabout southern lingo is that she knows they are the murderers and their lies will go nowhere with her.
I’m almost surprised she didn’t add “Bless your little hearts,” but then, this was no minor spat where it would be appropriate.

The aunt’s statement when she saw the mother shot and stabbed was priceless. That’s what I’d say if I saw a relative shot dead with a knife still in her back....well if you didn’t do this, where were y’all when whoever did this was doing it.
My goodness. I thought watching something like Jerry Springer or Judge Judy exposed people to the dregs of society. Wrong.
