Psychology is an art.

That's hard to master.

Unfortunately, it's cheap to teach compared to STEM studies, so schools hand out degrees like candy for a hundred or two thousand [dollars].

Even more unfortunate is the legal weight given to psychology.

Looking back to one’s college years, ‘Did you ever meet a psych major that wasn’t psycho?’. It always seemed to me they were in that major to try and unravel their own problems.

applying the Scientific Methods
Data is filtered through the same biases and perspective
that we all have. It is unavoidable.

True, but this is another significant step in demonizing straight, traditional male (mostly white) behavior and is part of a real campaign to marginalize men who function as males traditionally do. The left is evil and it does make value judgments. A big one id that normal white men are the problem and cause of every problem in the world. This is learned bs similar to the so-called scientific basis for antisemitism. Already it is becoming OK to use eliminationist rhetoric about white people and specifically white men. There is a really eerie similarity to what is happening here to intellectual trends in Germany after WW1. The difference is the targeted group here will not be as passive as Germany's Jews. Still this is a very menacing trend and one I truly never thought would ever appear in this country. Progressives are both evil and crazy.

I once taught a college course called Cultural Diversity which covered certain minority groups to help the students understand and sympathize with them, as well as to motivate support for their struggles to obtain equal rights. Given my background, I added a short unit on Jews. When college administrators realized this, the course was openly taken away from me for this reason. I was told that ‘the American problem is white males and, as Jews are white males, they are part of the problem.’ Is history being repeated in America?
