Interesting. Nancy and Chuck had to parlay the shutdown into the mix because they had no good answer to the wall. Their only solution was < “open the government b ack up and continue to debate about border security.”

Back in the days of the Cold War, it was said of the Soviet Union’s negotiating tactic, “ What’s ours is ours and what’s yours is negotiable.” Democrats are saying the ame thing: “Give us what we want, and we will ‘continue to debate’ about what you want.”

That will not pass the smell test even for the great undiscerning masses. The great middle will see through this scam.

Few people actually pay attention to current events. Few people are informed. The media has no credibility; people turn it off. The informed know what is going on. Hopefully,
they can communicate in simple terms to people who will grant some attention and listen. The rest of the masses will continue to sleep, until something happens to get their attention.

Apologies for not being here live. Saw it on recording, so I apologize if this has been posted already.

Trump should have said that Schumer refused to allow a vote on the Ryan bill in 2018, and that's why the government shut down.

Pelosi and Schumer, as I predicted, stalled until the 116th Congress in 2019 so they could deflect blame onto Trump for not passing Pelosi's bill.

They are saying that Trump shut down the government, when it was really Schumer in December who shut down the government.

People understand that Trump mentions $5.7 billion and the democrats went from $1.6 billion down to $1.3 billion. The public who doesn’t pay much attention to politics might ask why don’t they agree on a number between $1.3 billion and $5.7 billion? Somebody isn’t negotiating and if the public learns that Trump spent most of Christmas in the White House while Nancy Pelosi spent Christmas in Hawaii, not her home district of San Francisco, they have to conclude that its the democrats who aren’t negotiating.
