I can envision a video of Trump giving a speech at the border that shows Mexicans crossing the border behind him. It would be priceless.

I think President Trump should tie the wall funding to foreign aid. He could make this offer:
“I will sign a bill funding the US government today, without wall funding, but also without the 54 billion dollar aid package requested by the Democrats. We should spend that money on our security first, and then help other nations that need and deserve our assistance. It can be done in one day. After our government is reopened we can then negotiate a separate bill that addresses foreign aid and the wall.”

The TV nets are not as relevant as they think. For example, last year I watched almost all of President Trump's political rallies, yet I didn't watch even one of them on a TV network. Saw every single one pf them online

The networks have focused totally on "Trump's" Wall (It's America's wall) and the poor poor souls struggling already even though they are paid until the 15th. So now they can't possibly say that a Trump National address is not real news.
