This was in the 60s. He had a Plymouth Fury with a 383. He had done a lot to it including a 3/4 cam.

I had a '65 Chrysler 300 hardtop with a 383. Great engine. What did your pal use for a carb, that engine is thirsty.

I am not sure what he had. I have a suspicion that he was not as good a hot rodder as he thought. Some of those 327’s really would run tho.

I had another friend a pretty close one too, who had a maybe 1960 Chrysler with a 413 and 3 two barrels. He never drove it fast that I remember.

Had a bud in HS with a 57 Plymouth golden commando.
Don’t remember the cu in but it was very quick.
