Uniparty. Take positions but never resolve them.
The Democrats are very good at this too. They’ve been “fighting” for the poor for 60 years, but the poor haven’t seen anything but more poverty and dependence.
The problem the Republican side of the Uniparty has is that their base knows well what they are doing or not doing, and are angry and frustrated by it. The Democrat side of the Uniparty has no problems, their base is as oblivious as always as to what they have been and are up to, and as always blame the Republicans for all the things they don’t like that the Democrats have always been doing, and now finally they are halfway right!
