Newly elected Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema refused to be sworn in on a Bible, opting, instead, to place her right hand on a book of laws, including the U.S Constitution and the Arizona Constitution.
The book Sen. Sinema placed her hand on to be sworn in came from the Library of Congress, her office told the Arizona Republic.

Right up until she won her gerrymandered District for her House seat, Sinema would happily tell you she is a Communist. This from a radio host in Phoenix who knows/knew her. She ‘won’ through ballot harvesting (totally illegal in AZ) and the Dem Maricopa Country Recorder opening polling places in heavily Dem areas the weekend before the election (totally illegal in AZ). And Gov Ducey has told the Republican Party to stand down aft the Pubbies said they would launch an investigation into the Maricopa County Recorder’s office. She would have nEVER WON, without the cheating, but of course, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO THE CHEATING DEMS!
The entire House of Representatives took their oath as a body on the floor of the House without Bibles or any other book. What Breitbart is referring to is the ceremonial swearing in that individual Representatives may choose to do. It's meaningless in terms of their ability to hold their office, so they could choose to be sworn in on whatever they want.

Yep. That’d be my dad. He voted RAT since he was old enough to vote and did so till the day he passed away.
He was a little kid during the Depression. His dad was a self-employed finish carpenter. He was good at it, was in pretty high demand and made a nice income from it....until the Crash. His dad had over $5000 saved in the local bank at the time of the Crash and never recovered a single cent....not a penny. Back then, that was a LOT of money. It thru them into abject poverty until the New Deal came to be. His dad ended up traveling out west to work on the big dam to help em scrape by.
My dad HATED banks as much as he hated the GOP. Any extra money the man ever managed to save, he literally buried at night in mason jars in the backyard. I’m not kidding...he buried it. He kept a pencil map hidden where each jar was buried and how much was in it. He had over $8000 buried out there at the last of it. It took years for my mom to finally convince him to dig it all up. He finally caved in and dug up all the mason jars, but he didn’t cave in on the voting. He’d vote RAT no matter what. They could have run Vlad, the Impaler, and he’d a voted for him....sad.

I was thinking her oath should have been over a latex doubleheader of moderate girth, given her publicly-stated orientation.
A doubleheader would not demonstrate dominance, which unlike a snap-on, could be a micro-aggression to some.
Well, apparently she identifies as “bi-sexual” so I guess she has all the bases covered. And no, I don’t want to know what the show times are for the ‘sinema’.
In such a context, the “refusal” would seem to mean very little if it’s commonplace.

You KNOW Sinema only won due to cheating! Ward wouldn’t have won either, so stop it already. The vote total for Ward and Arpaio combined didn’t beat McSally anyway. Maybe you could put your energy toward thwarting the cheating dems, or go give Ducey some testicular fortitude so he would be motivated to investigate the cheating.
All those past quotes showed how radical she is. Sinema’s campaign portrayed her as a moderate during the race, and it’s completely fake.
This election was clearly stolen. McSally went from leading by tens of thousands to losing in a matter of a few days. Sienna carried a county, Yuma, I had read, that voted for Arpaio overwhelmingly in the primary. Figure that one out.
It’s like a herd-resistance thing. Too much anti- and the thing begins to fall apart badly.
This is one reason why so many want a wall. It’s to ensure that people who are let in will have to go through a door where they are vetted as to willingness to play the overall American game. Must they be Christian or Jewish? No. But they should be willing to play along with a Judeo-Christian ethic, a bible ethic. They should not be the poop in the Christmas punch.
