Trump needs to have an organized message with real information e.g. murders by illegal, cost of illegals on dole etc.
I have been out and about since the shutdown. Granted we live in a military city and nowhere I have been has there been ANY discussion about the government shutdown. The crisis, if you want to call it that, is media generated. The general public doesn’t even care. The use of shutdowns has run its course many years ago.
The beach is open, commercial flights are coming and going, and those young Navy aviators are still flying overhead doing their touch and goes. So what part of the government is the ‘essential’ part again?
What the establishment doesn’t get is that Trump voters don’t care about or positively enjoy the partial shutdown which to them is just further proof much of the fed establishment is unneeded in the most basic sense.
The democrats know a wall will work. The Chamber of Commerce know a wall will work. All we need do is look to Israel and see the success they had with a wall and cutting back on suicide bombers.
This is their fear; hard numbers that POTUS and the wall are working on making us safer and reducing the billions we spend on illegals each year.
It won’t surprise me if the democrats will give up the funds for a wall but try to impose that they will in fact manage its construction (there by deep sixing the project) and then blame republicans and POTUS for obstructing their efforts to secure our country around election time. They are devious like that.
I have faith in POTUS; the partial government will probably be the longest in history. mwuahahaha..
