If Warren had just a little bit of humility and was getting some good political advice she was listening to, she would humorously jab herself a bit for the I’m a Native American nonsense and move on, but she’s so prideful she keeps making herself look more ridiculous by doubling down on her defenses. Excessive pride is a burden which makes a person do and say stupid things.
That was never a remote possibility.
While her cohorts in the Democratic leadership could care less, the true believers in her party take racial reparations seriously. Stealing a career advancing fast track meant for indigenous tribal people in academia means that she has stolen her political position from them as well.
The Cherokee claim was the foundation of her past, and without it she has no future.
The funny thing is, she is likely to have destroyed Robert Francis O’Rourke’s future as well.
