Actually, I think 14 weeks of boot camp and not only would they run to the sound of gunfire, they'd do it in lockstep! The military has a way of making men out of boys, even pajama boys.

You're right, of course - quite wrong on my part. I was just reading about the InSight lander a few weeks ago. I was thinking in terms of the old manned flights to the moon and the moon Rover vehicle, which of course is not what China just did. My concern is mostly that China is far closer to landing men on the moon than we are these days, and I typed something quite wrong without really giving it much thought. Thanks for the correction.
