Full title: Border Patrol fires tear gas AGAIN after 100 caravan migrants try to cross over from Tijuana to San Diego on New Year's Eve as Trump slams the Democrats for not caring about 'the crime and drugs Open Borders bring' in ongoing shutdown Twitter rant
Migrants faced tear gas once again as they tried to cross the US-Mexico border from Tijuana to San Diego on New Year's Eve.
Around 100 Central American caravan migrants failed in their attempt to cross the border and enter the US on Monday.
As night fell and people on both sides of the border prepared to celebrate New Year's Eve, the migrants tried to cross over.
The US Customs and Border Protection (CPB) then hurled two smoke bombs at the migrants, holding them back.
One migrant could be seen with his face covered in treatment after tear gas was thrown at the Mexican side of the fence in Tijuana.
Other photos showed migrants trying to take cover as a thick wall of tear gas surrounded them, or crying out in pain after they were hit by the gas.

Why more? If the ROEs do not change and PDJT doesn't the military in FRONT of the BP, why add to the head count?
Look at this way, the BP can stop all illegal invaders anywhere inside our border where the military cannot and can only legally protect our border against invasion.
Does it not make sense to have the military up front?
Oh no, not tear gas! How unprecedented for police forces to use that.
Willie Pete!
Or if the border is closed completely, there would be no daily back and forth across the border.
I’d love to see that happen. Unfortunately no one will tell the next caravan before they head north. They are fed BS by the organizers.
Close off the border for a few days and Mexico may finally stand up and pay attention.
Californicate could then provide jobs for the homeless if the Mexicans had to stay home.
I agree. What happened to rubber bullets? Mortars?
Check out the video. yipping like Cherokees. These people, if they make it over the border, should have their prints and dna taken, marched back over the border, and never be allowed to set foot in the US again.
“Migrants faced tear gas once again as they tried to cross the US-Mexico border”
CORRECTION:
“Invaders faced tear gas once again as they tried to cross the US-Mexico border ILLEGALLY”
we could test that audio weapon...
they sound like extras on a scary mutant movie... or the movie Z
“Put on some Manilow. Crank it up to eleven.”
“My gawd, man...”
“Stupid tricks win stupid prizes”
What a stupid game we are playing.
If they were shot dead, the game would end.
I just meant we need the military to protect our borders, period. Isn’t there another invasion/caravan being planned? And that’s beside the daily influx of illegals and criminals.
In a sane world, we would already have 25,000 troops along the border...and keep them there.
President Trump is trying to do what he can. We support him. Most of Congress is apparently insane or bought and paid for by big corporation lobbyists who want the cheap labor to continue.
The human traffickers or coyotes want to get paid. Heck no coyote worth his salt will give his customers the straight skinny. By the way who is paying for food and water, clothing, and transportation for the financially poor folks attempting to illegally enter the U.S. ?
Pretty nice camera quality for the average illegal alien.
Plus a Million !!!
Yes or flame throwers.
What, the Daily Mail thinks the border patrol can only use tear-gas once? How could they dare do it again?
I suppose they could start firing real bullets at people who are trying to cross over the southern border illegally.
Using tear gas to stop them, is about as humane way as possible to get the job done without endangering them.
But I suspect the Daily Mail would respond that an even more humane way is to just leave these poor people to their own devices and let them cross into the US willy-nilly without the border patrol doing anything to stop them.
