Most national parks aren't fenced-in with gates. They're open.

Some have state highways running through them like, Yosemite. Can't shut down state highways in a federal shutdown.

The governor of Arizona publicly stated that the Grand Canyon National Park would be kept open to the public at their own expense.

Could be a temporary solution to keeping other parks open until the feds get their act together.

Zion NP in UT has a state highway running through part of it. When the criminal/fraud nobama was prez and closed the parks, they threatened to fine anyone stopping and taking pictures of the mountains along the road. Tyrannical lunatic LIB losers.
