Black persons cannot be fired.
In my experience, Hispanics are hired instead of blacks because this dynamic isn’t at work as much. Supervisors feel they get a better deal, while still “checking a box” so they have a “diverse” department. I’ve noticed Hispanic females replacing both black and white females in many low-skill office jobs.
