A TRADE deal with the US “doesn’t look like it will be possible” under Theresa May’s Brexit agreement, its ambassador has declared.

In a fresh blow for No10, President Trump’s representative in London, Woody Johnson, called on the PM to think hard about whether to choose the America or the EU as Britain’s biggest trading partner after our EU exit.

Mr Johnson also risked a diplomatic row by saying the UK “is in need of leadership”.

The UK can “turn a corner” and start to “put its differences aside” if Parliament backs the proposed Brexit deal, Theresa May has said.

Turnabout is fair play. I seem to remember the British government interfering in our internal elections.

If they have the slightest amount of self respect, the UK would just flip the finger to the EU and sever all ties.

The Brits since the first world war, and sometime earlier, have lost ground being “close” to the continent of Europe.

One would think that since a century of being sucked into the first war, and then the result of that war they were forced to defend itself in the second.

It broke the country to the point they had to borrow money from the USA to survive-which they finally paid off in 06 or 07.

Further, you’d think that the USA might learn from the past mistakes of the UK.

History repeats..

The Brits were on the gold standard. Their Empire cost them more to maintain than they could raise in taxes.

The U.S.A. went off the gold standard. When Pax American becomes too expensive to pay for, we just print more dollars, and the rest of the world accepts them.

Seems amazing, but that is, observably, what has been happening for the last 50 years.

In the next year or so, the world bank will no longer accept the US Dollar as a base currency.

Trump gets a lot of leverage out of the unilateral deals for trade. UK could get a great deal from us and have a better working arrangement than they get from the EU, but.. May is a fool

only reason she’s still there is that the alternative (Corbin) is an insane communist and the conservatives are too gutless to dump her.

The only money that keeps the "World Bank" in operation
is the American Dollar. The reason for its existence
is to accumulate as many dollars as it can.

Yup. And what base currency will they move to?

A digital method managed by world bankers.

We will all get a number.
